ASK REAL ESTATE SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES FUND

ASK Group’s Special Opportunities fund makes investment in unlisted securities of Asset Level Special Purpose Vehicle undertaking real estate development as well as holding companies (companies that have a portfolio of projects either in themselves and / or in downstream companies). It seeks to attain superior and consistent risk adjusted returns by investing through equity and equity linked, structured debt, and mezzanine funding instruments. As an asset class, real estate offers relatively high returns and low volatility.

The fund has made a first close of its fund at Rs. 522 crore till June 2011 and is targeting Rs 1,000 crore by March 2012.
